RevX Mediation

Collect subscriber events from various sources (network elements or applications) to drive reports or financial calculations within business rules authored by the RevX Rating engine.

The RevX Mediation product provides the framework for capturing and aggregating subscriber events from multiple service lines. RevX interfaces with applications, operating systems, network switches, and numerous network devices to gather usage information relative to subscriber activities. Activities which have been harvested are classified, transformed, and stored for subsequent transmittal to downstream systems for rating, reporting, and operational support systems. The concepts presented in this module are not specific to Call Detail Records (CDR's) or Internet Protocol Detail Records (IPDR's); rather, the usage module can collect complex information resulting from the most sophisticated product offerings. Unlike most customer care/billing solutions, the RevX platform is not a Telco product re-worked for an IP services market. It is a product designed specifically for the converged services market.
